Hello!

My name is Melvin Taylor Jr. and I'm a Midwest (Ohio/Chicago) native with an Empire State of mind. Having recently graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, IL I'm looking to take my liberal arts education to the massive, swift moving world of media.

While at Knox, I held internship positions with Jerry Thomas Public Relations, the Register-Mail as a sports writer, Knox’s Athletic Department as an Information Assistant, wrote for The Knox Student, and for the online blog Lakernation.com. Also I was published in a number of books, educated the youth of Galesburg, held my own radio show, participated in collegiate sports, and was an executive member of multiple organizations.
